Thank you to everyone who came forward as a candidate to support Berkeley High on some of our key committees.

Alex Parker, Charis Baz, Kolondra Harvey and Ralph Cantor will serve as parent/guardian representatives on the School Site Committee. We still need two alternates, so if you are interested, please contact janajandra at berkeley.net<mailto:janajandra at berkeley.net> as soon as possible - and come to the first meeting this coming Tuesday, October 10, at 4:00 p.m.

Alicia Abramson, Claire Kremen, Shannon McCune, Shauna Rabinowitz and Wim-Kees van Hout are elected to the BSEP Site Funds Committee, with Wil Burns and Juliet Bashore as alternates. The first meeting is Monday, October 23 at 4:30 pm.

The SSC and BSEP Committees meet in Conference Room B in the main administration building, near the counselors' offices. Agendas are posted on the E-tree and outside the main office.

If you are interested in serving as a BHS representative to the BSEP District-Wide Planning and Oversight (P&O) Committee, please come to the BSEP Site Meeting on 10/23 to ask to be elected by that committee as one of four reps and 2 alternates to the P&O Committee. We have six candidates interested, but we welcome additional interest. The first P&O Meeting takes place at 7 pm on November 14th at the District Office, 2020 Bonar Street, Room 126.

Please note: All of the above are "Brown Act" committees, which means meetings are open to the public and there is always time on the agenda for public comment.

There is also a district-wide orientation for people serving or interested in serving on school or district committees (SGC/SSC, BSEP, P&O, PAC, ELAC, DELAC, all the alphabet)!
