Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office by Felicia Phillips,

Good Morning! Here are the morning announcements for Monday, September 25.
*Student ID Card Pickup*
Students: If you took your ID card photo during Registration Week or during
last Friday’s makeup day, you can pick up your ID card any day this week
during lunch from the main office, located on the first floor of the D
Building. All students must have carry their current-year student ID while
on campus.
*Dreamers Project is Back!*
Dreamers Project will host an info session Friday, September 29 in the
College Career Center from 3:30-5:30 pm. We will be introducing the program
and how you can become a part of the Dreamers Project. The Dreamers Project
will host their first official meeting Friday, October 13th in the College
Career Center from 3:30-5:00 pm. We primarily serve students who are
undocumented, but everyone is welcome to join us! Food will be provided.
*Special Issue of The Jacket*
*The Jacket* is looking for submissions for the upcoming issue celebrating
Chicanx Latinx heritage. Please send illustrations, photos, blurbs, poems,
and other writing and visual art samples to Nina Price at
nina.price654 at gmail.com or bring them to room G108B by Monday, October 2nd.
*Attention, Seniors!*
This week, the CCC welcomes nearly 20 institutions for information
sessions, including CSU Northridge, Emory University, the University of
Miami and Tufts University. Don’t forget, seniors: you must have a signed
college presentation pass signed by your teacher in order to attend any
info sessions.
*Morning Sports Report*
- Team schedules are located on the Berkeley High School website,
Athletics tab
- Winter sports tryouts start November 6; check Berkeley High
website, Athletics Tab for important information about changes in
registration
- Boys Soccer will have a parent and student information meeting
on Monday, October 2, at 7:30p.m. at Sports Basement
*Tutoring*
ALL students from ALL grade levels are welcome to use the CCC after school,
not just juniors and seniors. The CCC is open 3:30-6:00, Monday through
Thursday. Please use this fantastic resource!
