Winter Clearance Procedure for Athletes

Please read EVERY step to make sure your athlete is approved for tryouts beginning Nov. 6.

Step 1 - Complete online Athletic registration at Family ID by Oct. 31*

  *   Please see details on our Athletic Website - link<http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/>
  *   You must upload your current/valid physical to your registration - we are no longer accepting paper physicals.
  *   Your registration is not complete until you receive an email saying "your registration is complete" Please note: Completed does NOT mean Approved.
  *   If you are having technical issues with registration or uploading your physical please contact Family ID directly -Email: support at familyid.com<mailto:support at familyid.com> Phone: 888.800.5583

*If you have not completed the registration by Oct. 31 you will not be able to participate in Winter Sports.

Step 2 - The Athletic Director's office will review your registration, physical and Quarter 1 GPA.

Step 3 - The Athletic Director's office will APPROVE students for Winter tryouts

  *   In order to be approved you must:
     *   Have a completed Family ID registration
     *   Upload a valid physical (signed, dated and stamped by a doctor)
     *   Have a Quarter 1 GPA of 2.0 or higher

Step 4 - Winter coaches will receive a list of all APPROVED students on Nov. 6th.

  *   Students who are not approved will not be able to try out for Winter Sports

Assistance is available from the Athletic Department for those who need help uploading physicals.

Coaches room (J205 - Stadium Building) on Wednesday. October 18th and Tuesday, October 24th 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Please DO NOT wait until Oct. 31 to register. Please give yourself enough time, if there are problems, technical or other, you may have time to correct.
