Juniors,

What: Meet Isabella Flores, Advisor, from Students Rising Above Scholarship Program for Juniors only
When: February 7, 2017 at lunch (11:38 AM - 12:18 PM). Bring your lunch to CCC right after 3rd period.
Where: College & Career Center (CCC) in D-221 (across from the library)

Do you know a student who is "rising above?" If so, Students Rising Above accepts applications from high school JUNIORS who meet our selection criteria. The application deadline is March 4, 2017.

Qualified students will meet the following criteria:

  *   High School JUNIOR (who will graduate from high school in Spring 2018)
  *   From a low-income family
  *   Demonstrated strength of character in overcoming obstacles not of his/her own making
  *   Committed to earning a four-year college degree
  *   Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  *   Highly recommended by a teacher, counselor, or mentor
  *   Willing to share personal story
  *   Live within the nine-county Bay Area
Our selection process is highly competitive. Each year more than 750 students apply to our program and over 100 students are accepted.
