Scholarship Program for Juniors only

*When: *February 7, 2017 at lunch (11:38 AM - 12:18 PM).  Bring your 
lunch to CCC right after 3rd period.

Do you know a student who is “rising above?”  If so, Students Rising 
Above accepts applications from high school *JUNIORS* who meet our

is March 4, 2017.


*Qualified students will meet the following criteria:*

  * High School *JUNIOR* (who will graduate from high school in Spring 2018)
  * From a low-income family
  * Demonstrated strength of character in overcoming obstacles not of
    his/her own making
  * Committed to earning a four-year college degree
  * Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  * Highly recommended by a teacher, counselor, or mentor
  * Willing to share personal story
  * Live within the nine-county Bay Area

Our selection process is highly competitive.  Each year more than 750 
students apply to our program and over 100 students are accepted.
