There is no school for students on Monday, October 10. It is a Staff
Development Day.

Mathworks

Starting today Tuesday October 4th, you can receive community service and
tutoring credits for volunteering in the Willard Math works program from
4:10 to 5:10! Join Mathworks at Willard Middle School on Stuart near
Telegraph.

Senior Sunrise!

This Friday October 7th is the SENIORS SUNRISE! All seniors come to the
football field at 7am and wear your Jacket gear! Donuts and orange juice
will be provided!

Dine at Zachary's!

Zachary's Pizza on College Ave is sponsoring the Berkeley High Jacket! Dine
out on October 5th Wednesday and 15% of your order will be donated to the
Jacket newspaper. All you have to do is show a flyer either as a physical
or digital copy.

Morning Sports Report

Competing at home today: boys and girls water polo against Piedmont, and
girls field hockey against University High School. On the road today: girls
tennis at Encinal and girls volleyball at Alameda.

PSAT Registration

The last day for 10th and 11th graders to register for the PSAT is
Wednesday, October 5. The cost is $25, payable in cash or check. Go to the
ticket office at Jacket Stadium during lunch or after school to register.
The test is on Saturday, October 15.

GSA!

The GSA will be selling t-shirts in the C2 Gallery in preparation for
National Coming Out Day. Shirts for LGBT+ students and allies are being
sold, next Monday through Friday at lunch for $15. All proceeds go to
support LGBT + homeless youth. Wear your shirt Tuesday October 11th to to
be "Out & About".

Fall PE Waiver Deadline

This is a reminder that the first portion of the Fall PE Waiver is due back
to the attendance office no later than October 7, 2016. No exceptions will
be made for missed deadlines.

Unity Week Anthem

"Do you make music? Do you want to make music? send your original unity
anthem to lurkyboys2016 at gmail.com for a chance to have your song featured
during Unity Week, which begins on October 14.
