The 2016 PSAT will be given at Berkeley High on /Saturday, Oct. 15/.This 
test for sophomores and juniors measures reading, writing language and 
math skills developed over many years. It prepares students to take the 
SAT and to start getting ready for college. Juniors who score very well 
can enter various scholarship competitions.

The cost is $25, which includes a fee for administrative expenses. 
Juniors who are enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program pay 
$5.00. There is no fee reduction for sophomores. Juniors will need proof 
of participation in the lunch programs. A verification form can be 
picked up in the College/Career center and signed by the Food Services 
supervisor in the cafeteria. Payment may be cash or check payable to 
Berkeley High School.

Eight hundred tests were ordered last spring. This number will not be 
increased. /Sign-ups for Juniors will begin on September 19./ Only 
Juniors may register from Sept. 19 through Sept. 23. Sophomores and 
Juniors not previously registered will sign up Sept. 26 through Oct. 5. 
Do not procrastinate as the tests may sell out before the final date. 
Sign-ups will be at the ticket window of the Jacket Stadium at lunch to 
12:15 and after school to 4:20 p.m.

Students who expect accommodations must have been approved by College
