Dear Parents and Guardians,



The Health Center is pleased to announce that we now offer vaccines through
the Vaccines For Children (VFC) Program!



The BHS/BTA Health Centers will provide FREE vaccines through the VFC
Program to any BUSD High School student who is 18 years old or younger AND
meets *at least one* of the following requirements:

·         Has Medi-Cal; or

·         Has No Medical insurance; or

·         Is Native American/Native Alaskan



The VFC vaccination program allows the Health Center to give:

·         All vaccines required for school attendance in BUSD

·         HPV Vaccine

·         Menactra (meningococcal vaccine)



If you are interested in having your student receive VFC vaccines, they
will need:

·         Health Center Consent Forms (attached)

·         Immunization Consent Form (attached)

FLU VACCINES



Flu vaccines continue to be available for any and all BUSD high school
students at the BHS and BTA health centers. The flu vaccine is FREE and
there is NO Insurance restriction for flu vaccines.



If you are interested in having your student receive the flu vaccine, they
will need:

·         Health Center Consent Forms (attached)

·         Flu Shot Consent Form (attached)
