*Welcome to BHS Girls Lacrosse Coach Jamie Eagan!*

When the sport of lacrosse was introduced at Jamie’s middle school it was
love at first sight. She was so excited to play that her school made an
exception and allowed her to join the team as the team manager a year
before she was eligible to play. She then played for Shawnee High School
in Medford, NJ. During that time, she was scouted by Division I schools
but ultimately decided on a city experience and headed off to New York
University. Without a team or intramural team to join, Jamie played with
Central Lacrosse, which is a post-collegiate women’s lacrosse group making
the best out of a small dust patch in Central Park. She moved out to the
Bay Area three years ago and currently plays with a group called BayLax
based in San Francisco and is a volunteer coach at Oakland Lacrosse.

Over the years Coach Jamie has attended numerous lacrosse tournaments
across the country and is thrilled to continue to do so. She is an
enthusiastic “amateur” runner and has completed several half-marathons and
other organized runs. She loves the outdoors and exploring the local area,
which includes hiking, rocking climbing and even a bit of tree climbing.

Coach Jamie looks forward to starting the Berkeley High Lacrosse season
this spring and continuing our excellent program.
