Parents and Guardians of Seniors and Class of 2016,



It is time to apply for financial aid for college.



Please open the attachment to learn more about the Cash for College/FAFSA
workshop on Thursday, January 28, 2016 in the BHS Library from 6:00 PM-8:00
PM.



During the workshop on Jan. 28, you can complete the FAFSA form to apply
for financial aid with help from advisors and volunteers.



You will need the following information for the forms:

· 1. Student and parent Social Security #'s (and Alien Registration #'s if
you are not a US Citizen, or you may eligible for the CA DREAM App and
scholarships).

· 2. Your family's most recent Federal tax forms like 1040, W-2, bank
statements.  You will not have to reveal this information to anyone, but
you need it to complete the FAFSA forms.

· 3. If your family's 2015 federal tax returns are not ready yet, bring
2014 tax returns for estimating.


Spanish translators will be available at the workshop.
