PLEASE do not reply to this email, contact Cindy Chang

Our next BAF meeting is Monday, February 8, at 7 pm in the School Library.

This is a MUST-ATTEND meeting for all those parents who are concerned about
concussions. BHS was selected as one of only 4 schools for the California
Brainbook Concussion Pilot Program. All BHS student-athletes will get, at
no charge:

1. access to an award-winning web-based concussion education program,

2. baseline computerized neurocognitive concussion testing (ImPACT), and

3. concussion evaluation/management by experienced sports medicine staff

This meeting is also a must-attend for all team parent reps, to discuss our
2016 9th Annual Golf Classic and Raffle on Friday May 6 at Tilden Golf
Course. Did you know that proceeds from this tournament pay for coaching
stipends for all freshman (or frosh) teams and also assistants for several
other teams (e.g., track, FB, bb)? This golf tournament impacted over 250
student-athletes at BHS. Without this tournament, there are NO freshman
teams at BHS.

Please mark your calendars and make plans now to attend.

Please contact BAF President Cindy Chang with any questions at
cjchangsportsmd at gmail.com, or go to our website at berkeleyathleticfund.net
for more information or to contact us.
