On September 17, 2015, the AC Transit Board of Directors and General
Manager received a letter from a Berkeley High School student endorsed by
Berkeley City Council requesting that AC Transit better align bus schedules
with Berkeley High morning bell times.  Lines 1, 1R, 7, 12, 18, 25, 49,
51B, 52, 65, 67, 88, and F were identified as important to students
commuting to school.  The letter stated that the ideal arrival time is
between 8:00 – 8:15 AM for the first period bell (8:27 AM).



In response, AC Transit has programmed changes to Lines 7, 25, and 65 to
better match the Berkeley High School first period bell.  A summary of
these changes is provided in the table below.  These changes will go into
effect on December 20, 2015.  The remaining lines (1, 1R, 12, 49, 51B, 52,
67, and 88) currently have scheduled arrival times approximately within the
desired window of 8:00 – 8:15 AM.  Those arrival times will remain
unchanged.

212, 215, 642, 657, L and OX. A complete list of service changes and
