Last test dates for seniors:

SAT: Test on Dec. 5: Must register by Nov. 5 to avoid a late fee.

ACT: Test on Dec.12: Must register by Nov. 6 to avoid a late fee.



If you qualify for *free or reduced lunch*, *you are* *eligible for a test
fee waiver.* Please see Mary Jacobs in the CCC by Thursday from 8:00 AM to
2:00 PM.  There are no classes on Friday, so you must get the waiver code
by Thursday. The waiver does not cover the late fee.

SAT Crash Course on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10 AM to 3 PM at YMCA
Teen Center.  Sponsored by the People's Test Preparation Services (PTPS) at

*APPLICATION WORKSHOPS:*



College Advisors will offer application support after school on Tuesdays
and Thursdays from 3:30- 5:30 in the Library Computer Lab.



Note:  With the UC and CSU deadline of 11/30/15 approaching, we have added
Thursdays!  Students do not need to sign up ahead of time. Application
workshops will continue throughout the month of November.

Personal Statement Workshop @ UC Berkeley



Seniors can get help with personal statements from UC Berkeley students and
staff on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at 60 Barrows Hall,
UC Berkeley.

*FINANCIAL AID OVERVIEW:*



For Parents/Guardians of Seniors on November,12th at 6:30 PM in the BHS
Library, East Bay Consortium will offer a financial aid overview.  This
presentation will include the following:

a. Information to help prepare for the 2015-2016 FAFSA and DREAM Application
b. Information regarding the new “Middle Class Scholarship” for UCs and CSUs
c. Grant and Scholarship Information



The workshop will also be available in Spanish in the College & Career
Center in Room D-221.
