Announcements are put together in the BHS Main Office. For those of you who
do not hear the announcements where you are during second period, or if you
would like to read them each day, you can find them in the Daily Bulletin
section of Powerschool.

*BART Tickets*

Please go to the Parent Resource Center in room D224 to order your BART
tickets today. It is the last day this month to order.

*Jazz @ Lunch*

Come join us tomorrow, Thursday for BHS Jazz at Lunch, between the D and A
buildings

*Berkeley High Radio Station*

The Berkeley High Radio Station will be having its first live radio show
tomorrow at lunch! Tune in and support your classmates. Go to bhsradio.com
and click the link to "Listen Live". Teachers, please encourage your
students to come in at lunch and listen on your computer, if at all
possible. The show will have everything from live performances to talk
shows to great music! We hope you all tune in for a great show!

*Ecology Project International*

Ecology Project International is a nonprofit organization that gives
students the opportunity to work alongside researchers at field sites in
Costa Rica to assist with data collection and learn about the local
ecology. There will be an information meeting for on Wednesday at lunch in
room M-201. Contact Ms. Lopez for further questions

*Independent Theater Projects*

Join the elitest of the elite, the cream of the crop, the best sauce in the
cabinet. Auditions for Independent Theater Projects are on Nov. 10th, 12th,
or 13th. ITPs is a student directed, student produced show consisting of 2
one-act plays. Audition sign-ups are posted outside Mr. Conn's door, C232.
Come to auditions prepared with a 1-2 minute monologue and a completed ITPs
questionnaire, which will be made available soon. Be there or be dependent.

*Saturday School*

Thirty unverified absences mean no prom, no work permit, and no sports, so
clear up your absences on by going to Saturday School! Next Saturday School
is on Saturday, November 7th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students interested
in attending must sign up in the Attendance Office before school, at lunch
or after school. Remember that you can only clear the previous month's
absences, so November Saturday school will clear unverified absences from
the month of October.

*BHS Jazz Ensemble*

Are you interested in singing with the award winning BHS Jazz Ensemble?
They are looking to collaborate with up to 3 singers this year. Auditions
will be held on Friday, November 6th from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. in A205. They
are particularly looking for people who can sing in both English and
Spanish. If you'd like to audition, please contact Ms. Cline at
sarahcline at berkeley.net She will forward you the audition materials, and
schedule you for an audition time.

*Girls Soccer*

There will be an informational meeting today Wednesday after school for all
girls wanting to try out and play Berkeley High Soccer. Meet on the south
side of the Athletics Plaza, next to Softball field, Team Locker room right
after 6th period - 3:30 Tryouts begin on Monday 11/9
------------------------------

*Wildlife Conservation Club*

Do you love animals? If so, come join the Wildlife Conservation Club,
Mondays at lunch in room C131 where they will watch documentaries and raise
money to help end animal poaching and big game hunting.
