The Y-Scholars Program is currently accepting applications for all grade 
levels.

The Y-Scholars Program is a free after-school program that works with 
first-generation and low-income student in grades 9-12, preparing them 
to pursue higher education through career exploration and academic 
achievement. Services include: weekly workshops covering topics ranging 
from study skills to college exploration, mentoring, after-school 
tutoring, SAT preparatory classes, college tours, social events, and 
much more.

And the best part –the program is free!

You can pick up and drop off the Y-Scholars Application at the Teen 
Center or download it at register.yscholars.org.

The YMCA-PG&E Teen Center is located at 2111 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, 
just a street away from Berkeley High. For more details, contact Jose
