Dear Parents and Guardians,



On Wednesday, October 14, we are planning a day like no other in recent
memory, to work towards building a positive school community by offering
our students various opportunities for growth and enrichment. As a result,
the day will reflect an unusual schedule, with students instructed to
arrive at different times in the morning depending on their grade level and
event.



Please review the arrival times below and help us ensure students are clear
about reporting time and room location.  Please note also that the late-day
academic schedule, normally followed on Mondays, will resume by 4th period
at 1:09pm.



*Student arrival time by grade level:*



*9th grade - 10am. *

Freshmen will either be in the Berkeley Community Theatre (big theatre) or
the Florence Schwimley Little Theatre (little theatre) for the Student
Power Actualized through Respect and Kinship (SPARK) Assembly. Room
locations were delivered to classrooms on Friday. In case students were
absent or forgot to write down their location, these assignments are posted
on the wall in the food court right next to the leadership office. Students
must know their student ID number to find their location.



*10th grade - 8am.*

ALL sophomores will take the PSAT in various rooms in the C Building. Room
locations were delivered to classrooms on Friday. In case students were
absent or forgot to write down their location, room locations are posted on
the wall in the food court right next to the leadership office. Students
must know their student ID # to find their location.



*11th grade - 8am if taking the PSAT, 1:09pm, if not. *

Juniors who registered for the PSAT will test in the M Building beginning
at 8am. Room locations were delivered to classrooms on Friday. In case
students were absent or forgot to write down their location, room locations
are posted on the wall in the food court right next to the leadership
office. Students must know their student ID # to find their location.
Juniors who are not testing, 1:09pm (4th period).



*12th grade – 1:09pm. *

All Seniors should report to 4th period classes at 1:09pm.  Make sure to
take advantage of the extra time to study and prepare for classes.
