Dear Parents and Guardians,

Flu Season is coming!

The Health Center at Berkeley High has just received the first shipment of
flu shots for the year. Flu shots are free to all students at Berkeley High
and BTA regardless of whether or not they have medical insurance. A Health
Center Consent Form and Screening Checklist for Influenza must be filled
out by the parent before the student can receive the flu shot. The Health
Center is open Monday to Friday 8:30-4pm. We are closed 4th period.

Getting the flu may be mild for some people, but can be serious for those
with chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, heart diseases, and kidney
disorders. Caregivers of children and pregnant women are also strongly
recommended to get their flu vaccine as well.

If you have any questions about the free flu shot at the BHSHC, you can
contact us at 510-644-6965.

sick, please visit:
