[BHS Etree] ADMIN: Update on incident off-campus today at lunch

[BHS Etree]

Dear BHS Community,

 

We have additional information regarding the incident which occurred
off-campus today at lunch in which a BHS student was injured. Initial
reports that the person who stabbed the BHS student was a non-student were
incorrect. A BHS student has been identified as the person who had the knife
and the altercation appears to have been personal and not random. The
student who had the knife has been suspended and is pending further
discipline.   

 

The BHS student who sustained a non-life threatening knife wound continues
to be in stable condition and is with his family.  

 

We will provide additional details to our families and community where it is
relevant and appropriate to do so.
