The Academic Choice Advisory Council, or ACAC, is a group of teachers,
parents, students, and administrators who meet once a month to discuss
the present and future of Academic Choice.
Our next meeting is Friday, February 6 from 7:30 to 8:35 AM at Berkeley
High School, Room C-317.
The AC community, as well as the public, are welcome to attend. Every
month we set aside the first part of the meeting for community questions
and concerns. Highlights of last month’s meeting include the
announcement that students in next year’s junior class will be allowed
to choose their mandatory AP class rather than all AC juniors being
required to take AC Language and Composition.
On the agenda this month:
- Public/Parent comments and questions
- T-shirt Fundraising Project
- Establishing Priorities for Funding
- Discussion of Long-term Substitute Teacher Policies in English
and history classes
- WASC Visit
If you are unable to attend, the minutes of AC Advisory Council Meetings
can be found on the AC Governance page of the AC website:

Sincerely,
Donna Storey
ACAC secretary and AC parent
