Spring Sports 2014-2015, Athletic Packets and Eligibility

Clearing dates for athletic packets will start tomorrow January 27-30, 2015
and February 2-6, 2015!!! 

 

Tuesday January 27 through Friday January 30: Lunch and after school  

February 2-6: Lunch and after school 3:30-5:00 

Athletic Director's office J207 (behind the stadium bleachers)

 

Do not wait until the last day.  

Do not miss these clearing dates!  

 

TRYOUTS START ON February 9, 2015.  

 

You will not be allowed to try out without having cleared your packet.

 

Thinking about playing a Spring Sport? Get your athletic packet and make
sure you have an up-to-date physical (medical clearance from you doctor
within the year) or schedule an appointment with your physician now!

Athletic Packets are available to pick up anytime outside of the Athletic
Director's office, at the BHS Front Desk or download at

http://bhs.berkeleyschools.net/athletics/.  (All Athletic Packets for Spring
Sports will be collected before tryouts begin.)

 

- If you played a Fall or Winter sport and already have a cleared packet on
file you need to come by the Athletic Director's office during clearing
times to confirm your emergency information, make sure your physical is
still current and to register for the sport you will try out for.  You will
be given a Gold Ticket with your name and the sport you are trying out for.
You will present this to the coach when you go to tryouts.

- Please remember that eligibility is based on your Semester 1 grades so
work hard to make sure those grades are at a 2.0 minimum GPA.  If you need
any assistance, please ask your teachers about tutoring or check in with
your counselors.
