*The Lonely Island Returns to Berkeley High*

Berkeley High alumni Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer (The
Lonely Island) returned to Berkeley High a week ago Sunday for a walk
down memory lane. The three met at Willard Middle School, continued
their friendship at Berkeley High, and more recently worked together on
Saturday Night Live for eight years. Andy's celebrating the second year
of his award winning new show Brooklyn 99, and the three are currently
working on a project that is chronicling their lives in Berkeley. Three
years ago they facilitated a donation of $250,000 to Berkeley High and
Willard, contributed $10,000 towards the signs at Moellering Field, and
Andy donated $15,000 to John Muir Elementary where his mother has since
retired as an Instructional Aid working with students with hearing
disabilities.
