As many of our sophomores and juniors prepare to take the PSAT, we would
like to recommend utilizing Career Locker as a resource for test
preparation.

 There is a PSAT practice test on www.careerlocker.org
<http://www.careerlocker.org/>

Students can sign up for (register for) Career Locker and then take the PSAT
practice test on-line.

Student Registration

5.      Go to  <http://careerlocker.com/> http://careerlocker.com

6.      Click on Register Now

7. Use the registration code bhc-c252

8.      Enter

a. username: first name followed by last name (all lowercase, no
spaces)

b.      password: berkeley

After registering for Career Locker, you can select the "GO" button at the
bottom of the Academic Test Prep box.

Note: this is not signing you up to take the PSAT but to get a chance to
take a sample test.

Here is the information about the PSAT from careerlocker:

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Tests PSAT* is a
standardized test used to determine qualifiers for the National Merit
Scholarship program. The test measures to measure critical reading,
mathematical, and writing abilities; and serves as preparation for the SAT.

explanations are provided for all questions. An Overview details the
organization of the test, tips and strategies for success, test scoring
information, and links to the exam-provider for registration and additional
information.

Features:

*  A full-length test written by experts
