*Alameda County Superintendent of Schools Sheila Jordan visited Berkeley 
High School on Friday. to see teacher Glenn Wolkenfeld in action.

Glenn is BUSD's Teacher of the Year, and in preparation for the ceremony 
on October 2nd, Superintendent Jordan is observing in the classrooms of 
every districts candidate. At the ceremony on October 2nd, one of the 
candidates will be named Alameda County's Teacher of the Year.

Superintendent Jordan was joined by Alameda County School Board Member 
Joaquin Rivera and BUSD Superintendent Donald Evans, who led the 
students in a round of applause for their teacher.
