[BHS Etree] PTSA: Parent Teacher Student Association Elections, Sept. 6

Elections for Berkeley High PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) 
will be held on Sept. 6 at 11:00 in the Little Theater as part of the 
PTSA Welcome Event being held that day.


The nominating slate is as follows:

President: Orlando Williams

Orlando is currently VP at Berkeley High PTSA, and has a freshman 
daughter at AMPS. Orlando is very active with BHS alumni and school events.

Vice-president/student rep: Sophie Squire

Sophie is a senior at AHA and is excited about being the first student 
rep on PT*S*A!

Treasurer: Bill Briscoe

Bill is currently secretary of the PTSA and has a son who is a sophomore 
in IB. Bill has previously held multiple positions on the BAM PTA.

Secretary: Jonathan Squire

Jonathan is currently PTSA president and has held many PTA positions at 
BHS, Jefferson, King, and PTA Council. His daughter is a senior in AHA 
(see above).

Auditor: Paula Chertok

Paula has held various positions at the Prospect Sierra School PTA. 
Paula has a freshman daughter at IB.

If you want to step forward and nominate yourself or another, there is 
still time! Open positions are Historian and Parliamentarian 
(descriptions provided upon request).

The election will be held as a voice vote by position, and nominations 
from the floor will also be solicited.
