Sailing?  At Berkeley High?  Yes!  There is a Berkeley High sailing team
that sails out of Richmond Yacht Club, and competes in the Pacific Coast
Interscholastic Sailing Association (PCISA) in CFJ two-person dinghies.
This means that you can get a PE waiver for sailing!  

 

Sailing experience, especially in dinghies, is desirable but not required.
A desire to go sailing and a willingness to learn (and swimming ability) is
necessary.  The program runs from October to April, and Richmond Yacht Club
provides the boats and coaching.   For more information, please contact
