We are pleased to announce that Alison Schoenbeck is the Berkeley High Head
Girls Field Hockey Coach!

Alison has been involved in the sport of field hockey for more than 25
years. Starting with a successful career on a Division I team in
Burlington, Vermont, she was voted captain both her junior and senior years
leading her team to semi-final state competitions. Following high school,
Alison was selected as the best center mid-fielder in the state and invited
to represent the State of Vermont on an All-Star team for the Twin-State
Championship Games. Since that time she has been part of adult leagues in
both San Diego and Northern California, most recently a member of Team
Irish, the Northern California Field Hockey Association's 2012 League
Champions. As an adult player, Alison has competed in numerous
international tournaments in both Arizona and California.

Alison is an NFHS Certified Coach and a certified CHEK Exercise Practitioner
(Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology). She spends most of her free
time trail running, working as a volunteer track coach and organizer for the
Berkeley Running Club, and is currently working towards completion of her
Pilates Instructor Certification at Rise Bodyworks-Berkeley.

Field Hockey is a Fall Sport and tryouts will begin on August 18th. All
Student Athletes must have a completed and cleared Athletic Packet in order
