Congratulations to both Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer Teams!

Both of these Winter sports teams were chosen by the North Coast Section as

Scholastic Championship Teams.

This award is presented to the top three NCS varsity teams in each division
or classification in each sport with the highest composite GPA of 3.0
(unweighted) or above. Recognizing that there are 170 schools in the NCS,
this is indeed an outstanding achievement. Girls had a composite GPA of 3.6
and the Boys had a composite GPA of 3.5. Both teams managed to keep their
grades up and play so well that they advanced through NCS Playoffs.
Congratulations on demonstrating the high standards of Yellowjacket Student
Athletes!

In the words of Gil Lemmon, Commissioner of Athletics of the North Coast
Section, the members of the Girls Soccer team and the Boys Soccer team have
attained the highest goal of educational athletics, combining outstanding
academic performance with interscholastic athletic participation.
