Hello BHS Community,
Senior Prom is just over one month away. It will take place at the
California Academy of Sciences in the SF Golden Gate Park on Saturday,
April 19. Doors open at 8 pm and close at 9:30, while the dance is over
at 12 am. The theme is "Night at the Museum" being well-suited to the
venue as we will have access to the aquarium for 90 minutes, can view
the albino crocodile, penguins, and a few other exhibits at museum.
Senior Prom tickets go on sale beginning March 17 for $75.00 at lunch on
the senior steps. After school, stop by the leadership office to
purchase tickets. Guest passes, available in the leadership office, must
be completed at time of purchase. Guest passes are due April 11.
Finally, remember to buy early as tickets prices will increase! Students
with free and reduced lunch may purchase tickets at $75 for the entire
duration of ticket sales. Please show proof available from counselor.
Other notes:
* Dress code is formal. Clothing should not be too casual. Jeans are
highly discouraged. Dresses should be classy.
* There is an underground parking lot at the Academy of Sciences.
Parking will be $15.
* Consider arriving early to take pictures in the beautiful area
around the museum or even in the Japanese Tea Garden.
* Consider also running for Homecoming Royalty. Nominations forms can
be picked up at time of purchase.
