Are you a junior nervous about the college application process next
year? Are you a sophomore looking for support to help you get back on
track? Are you a freshman who feels lost and can use some guidance to
improve yourself? Here is your chance!
The Y-Scholars Program is accepting applications for this Spring
semester! YSP is a *FREE* after school program that works with students
who are looking for guidance and support to help them reach their
academic and career goals. We are looking for high school students who
believe college is an option in their future.
We have 14 program counselors who are ready to help you with academics,
social support, and college pursuit. As well, tutors who are available
to help you in various school subjects such as Chemistry, Biology,
Algebra 2 or Calculus. In addition, the program offers mentors, college
tours, social events, and scholarship opportunities.
Space is limited and will fill up fast. Come pick up an application at
the YMCA-PG&E Teen Center, just across from the BHS campus.
For more information, please contact Jose Cruz via email at
*jcruz at ymca-cba.org* or phone at *510 542 2130*. We hope you will take
advantage of this amazing opportunity!
