Deadline extended to MARCH 14

 

Do you qualify for the Seal of Biliteracy?

Make sure you have the following requirements and  pick up an application
from the counseling office, your World Language teacher or Ms. Bugarini in
the new building M-204. 

 

Successful completion of all high school graduation requirements including
successful completion of all English requirements, with a minimum overall
GPA of 2.0 (copy of current transcript-with fall semester grades).

 

And ONE or more of the following:

1.         Successful completion of four consecutive years of World Language
in the same language and with a grade of C or better.

2.         Grade of C or better in AP or IB level World Language course.

3.         A score of 4 or better in an AP or IB exam for a foreign language
(verification needed)

4.         A score of 675 or higher on the SAT II Language Test
(verification needed)

5.         A passing score on a foreign government's approved language exam
and receipt of a diploma/certificate on competency. 

6.         Foreign transcripts with passing grade in high school level
language arts course.
