Third Annual JazzGirls Day - at Berkeley High School - FREE!

 

Come join us on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 for the 3rd Annual JazzGirls Day
at Berkeley High School. This event is FREE and is for girls only, with
lunch provided for high school students.

 

Girls and young women, ages 10 - 19, who play or sing jazz, or are thinking
about trying it out, are invited to join professional female jazz musicians
and educators for the afternoon.  Activities will include master classes,
jam sessions and a concert all under the direction of Berkeley High Jazz
program director, Ms. Sarah Cline.

 

This coming Saturday, March 8th (International Women's Day)

 

10:30 am - 5 pm - High School student musicians

 

1 pm - 5 pm - Middle/Elementary student musicians

 

Berkeley Community Theatre - 1930 Allston Way (enter doors located between
Milvia and MLK, Jr. Way on Allston Way)

This FREE event is made possible by BUSD, The Berkeley Jazz Parents'
