Hello Berkeley High Community,

We are down to the last two weeks of the Month of Service. We have already a
successful Service Fair with over 40 tables and 500 visitors. (Send me an
email to request any of the names of organizations that attended). Last
week, we held a letter writing campaign to support the club Youth Against
Guns. This week, we have two opportunities for any student to get involved
and for SENIORS to clear UNEXCUSED PERIOD ABSENCES! (Please note that
Seniors cannot buy Prom tickets if they have over 30 unexcused period
absences)

THUR MARCH 21 @ Leadership Office

Peanut Butter & Jelly Delivery - Students will make and deliver sandwiches
to people living in the streets in the nearby area.

SAT MARCH 23 @ Y.A.P. on MLK Jr. Way and Oregon (Must pre-register using
form in green folder in Leadership Office)

Youth Conference - Free conference will get students working on solutions to
issues in the community. Free lunch and t-shirt.

In order to clear unexcused period absences, please ask Mr. V for a time
sheet to keep track of hours. This time sheet will be what is needed to be
turned in to the attendance office before April 19.
