This Saturday, March 9, 2013 starting at 1:00, the 2nd Annual JazzGirls Day will be held at Berkeley High School. 

Young women ages 10-18, who play or sing jazz or are thinking about trying it out, are invited to join professional female jazz musicians and educators for the afternoon.  Activities will include master classes, jam sessions and the screening of a film. Prominent female jazz musicians from around the Bay Area will be leading workshops, jams and discussions.   Food and drink are provided.  

This free event will be held in Room A201 at Berkeley High, 1:00 - 4:00.  

At 4:00 - 5:30 in the Little Theatre there will be a screening of a new film about women in jazz.   Help us get the word out to all girls within or outside of Berkeley Unified.
