Gather in for good cheer and join the volunteer corps for the 2013 College
Fair and Case Studies.

Bring a fellow parent: Looking for 9th, 10th (and 12th grade parents who
just want another way to 'give back') (11th grade parents should be
ATTENDING this event!). Tuesday evening THIS WEEK!! Dec. 4 from 6 - 7:30
pm. Come also for good cheer & treats from Cheese Board. Home of Kathy
Brown, 1 Maybeck Twin Drive, Berkeley. Park on Buena Vista Way or La Loma
Ave - pictures and tales will be told about last year's fair!

Or come to the Thursday Dec. 6 meeting 12:30 noon - 1:30 pm D building in
the College Center, on campus!

If you want to give time to the whole school - every Junior is invited to
this one day free event - this College Fair is your event, as you'll see the
kids from every small school, their parents and a whole lot of college reps
who want to meet them, make connections and create paths to college for
these kids.

Our Case Studies and Fair Event is Sunday, April 21st. But you don't have
to be in town that day to volunteer...it takes hours of pre-planning and
preparation for the students too. You can volunteer to help deliver the
workshop packets to individual English classes and get to hear Angela and
Skyler explain the Mock Admissions Workshop. As Freshman and Sophomore
parents, you will get a glimpse of the process, observe how Juniors should
act and come away knowing a bit more about the college application process.
Sign up as a room host for the case studies and then wander the fair when
you're done working the event.

Thank you for your interest in making the 2013 College Fair and Case Studies
a close-to-home opportunity for 850 Juniors and families to meet college
representatives and admissions officers from all over the country!

Sincerely, Angela Price and Skyler Barton

RSVP if possible to Kathy: KLB1MTD at gmail.com
