We need a few more ushers to help with the World AIDS Day event on Thursday,
December 6, from 9:10 in the morning until 11:30.  If you can help, please
contact Janet Huseby at janethuseby at berkeley.net 

 

Below is the latest information on the event from English teacher Mr. Alan
Miller who is the event organizer. 

 

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6             PERIODS 2 AND 3 ONLY

 

This day's event will focus on Women and HIV/AIDS. 

 

1,  BHS student actors will perform a scene from Vagina Monologues; 

 

2.  A former BHS student, diagnosed as HIV positive at the BHS Health Center
will share her experiences; 

 

3.  Rhodessa Jones, of Cultural Odyssey and The Medea Project, will perform
a piece highlighting the voices of women living with HIV.
