Ideas for BHS Environmental Education - Parent Meeting

To all interested Berkeley High Parents,

We invite you to share your ideas regarding expanding environmental education at Berkeley High. Please come this Tuesday, November 27, to the Berkeley High School Library from 7:00-8:15 pm. We will share the ideas that came from BHS staff and ask you to comment and add your own thoughts.

We are starting with the following essential questions: As Green Academy is no longer going to be the focus for green education at BHS, what do we do to ensure that education about environmental sustainability is embedded into our school community? How can we use this as an opportunity for deepening environmental and social justice teaching at BHS? How will we serve the diversity of students in our school community, especially those who have not been traditionally represented in these fields?

Hope you can join us this Tuesday. Please email me with your questions and comments.
