Pre enrollment for New-to-BUSD incoming 9th grade students is now up at:
http://www.berkeleyschools.net/departments/berkeley-school-admissions/enrolling-new-high-school-students
A summary of the enrollment process is below:
(Current BUSD students do not have to register but they should plan on
attending the BHS Information Night on the 1st of February.)****
** **
1. Attend the BHS Information Night on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. with
your student.****
2. Starting January 17 you go online to the district site to pre-enroll.
You must pre-enroll by Feb. 20. The link for pre-enrollment has not yet
been posted. The link will be posted under new families on the BUSD
website
http://www.berkeleyschools.net/departments/berkeley-school-admissions/enrolling-new-high-school-students/.
You must pre-enroll before step 3.
3. The week of Feb. 21 you must go to the district admissions office to
continue the enrollment process by bringing proof of residency, birth
certificate, and registration packet. (The packet may be picked up at the
Berkeley High front office) now or when you go into the district Admissions
office but it will take 30 to 45 minutes to fill in whenever you do it.)*
***
4. Finally, you and your child will come to BHS to actually input their
preferences for learning communities and electives on one of three days:
March 5, 12, or 19 ****
** **
Good luck for all of the above,
