[BHS Etree] VOLUNTEERS - Writing Tutors Needed for AC, a Few Spaces Available in Training Beginning Dec. 6

Academic Choice is looking for volunteers interested in becoming Writing Tutors in English classes. Writing Tutors will work one-on-one with students during class time, helping them to strengthen their writing and thinking skills by giving them constructive feedback and building their confidence as writers.

Volunteers will receive training from the Writer Coach Connection, to be offered on December 6 and 13, two consecutive Tuesdays, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. We still have a few spots available for these training sessions. Volunteers receiving the training would commit to working with students in Academic Choice  for approximately 1-2 hours two to three times per month. The program will be administered by AC teachers, not by Writer Coach Connection.  Please do not contact Writer Coach Connection about the training; contact the people listed below.

You do not have to be a writer to work as a Writing Tutor, you just need a dedication to helping our students.
