PLEASE do not reply to this email, contact Janet Huseby, jhuseby at pacbell.net

In one week, Friday, October 28, the Spirit Rally will take place. So far we have 45 volunteers—our goal for a safe and smooth rally is 75 parent/guardian volunteers. If you are are still considering coming, please think yes! and let me know at jhuseby at pacbell.net

Parents will not be disciplinarians, but ushers, as well as extra eyes and ears. I promise you, this is a fun day and it is nice to have a reason to be on campus. If your child prefers not to have you around, I can make sure your paths will never cross!) Volunteers will be on campus from 1:45 to 3:30.

The Student Leadership has been working hard to ensure everyone has a good time this week There will be some before school, lunch, and after school (ending by 3:45) activities on some of the days in the courtyard. Music and microphone will be used.

For example, on Tuesday, Tie-Dye Hippie Day, there will be the opportunity to make a tie-dye t-shirt. Wednesday, Ancient Greece Day, there will be some "Olympic" events occurring including a grape toss and three-legged race.

On Friday, there will be BBQ Club on the campus green along with a live performance from the band, Flipsyde, which is led by BHS Alum Jinho Ferreira ('92). The group will come with full instrumentation and substantive, socially-conscious lyrics that promote positive reflection and behavior. Be there!

The rally will be a grand celebration of BHS talent and personalities including a tribute to Malik Grayson and Tim Moellering. You won't want to miss this inspiring event that we hope will make you proud to be part of the BHS community.
