Back to School Night is this Thursday, September 22, from 7:00-9:00 P.M.

Dear BHS Families:

This is a reminder that Back to School Night is this Thursday from 7:00-9:00
p.m. 

We are very much looking forward to this evening and hoping that all of our
families can join us. Back to School Night is one of the best opportunities
we have to share the experience students are having at Berkeley High School
with their families. 

Back to School Night is an event for parents.  Students are not encouraged
to attend.  It is also not the time for parent-teacher conferences. 

On this evening, parents will report to their child's first period class.
If they do not have a copy of their child's schedule, copies will be
available in the Lobby of the Community Theatre.  A short welcoming
announcement will be made at the beginning of first period.  Parents will
then follow their child's schedule with 10 minutes in each class and
6-minute passing periods.  Information about school clubs, athletics,
escrip, etc. can be food in the Food Court.  There will also be tech staff
on hand in the food court at 6:30 p.m. to assist parents with logging in to
Powerschool so that they can monitor the attendance and academic progress of
their students.

To avoid lines for schedules on the night of the event, print this e-mail,
including the chart below, and fill in the required information to help you
navigate the evening. You may also access the chart at this link on the PTSA
website:  http://www.bhs.berkeleypta.org/  under "Print out a class chart
for your student to fill-in"
