The Athletic Office is trying something new this season in order to process
athletic packets that are required for team sports.

 

What:         Clearing Night for Athletic Packets

 

When:        Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 5:30-6:30 PM 

 

Where:       Donahue Gym

 

Why:           Parents and guardians or student athletes may submit their
athletic packets before try outs and ask questions about BHS Athletics.

 

How:           Complete an Athletic Packet including a Medical Examination
form.  The physical form must be signed and stamped by your doctor (seen
after January 1, 2011 and good for one year).

                     

                    Athletic Packets can be found-

                    1. outside the BHS Athletic Director's Office (just west
of Donahue Gym)

                    2. at the BHS main desk at the entrance to the school

                    3. online at
http://www.berkeleyhighathletics.org/athletic-packet  (Must have 2 copies of
the Emergency Form page and both copies have a parent signature. Parent also
signs the Medical Form) 

 

                    Please be sure to keep a copy of the athletic packet for
your records.

 

                    If you cannot attend Athletic Packet Clearing Night,
please drop in the mail slot of the Athletic Office.  

 

What do I need to do to try out for a team?   Attend Team Tryouts all 5 days
-  August 15 - 19, 2011.  Bring appropriate gear and water.
