ACADEMIC CHOICE FAMILIES, Mark Your Calendars!

AC General Meeting and Election

Thursday, May 19th

7:00 to 9:00 pm

Berkeley High School Library

2nd floor, Building D (corner of Milvia & Allston)

Calling all AC Parents and Guardians! The Academic Choice Spring General
Meeting is a great way to learn from AC teachers and parents about what's
going on with AC, and have an opportunity to get your questions answered.

We will also elect parent representatives to the Academic Choice Advisory
Council (ACAC) which is like the PTSA for AC. This is a great opportunity
to give back to the community, to interact with our talented teacher
leaders, and to impact the governance of AC. If you've considered getting
involved, the time is now! There is one daytime meeting per month, plus
ongoing committee work. Please contact Lawrence Grown
<x-msg://1159/lawrence@metrolighting.com.> lawrence at metrolighting.com for
details.

Topics that will be covered at the meeting:

*	Parent Representative Elections
*	Candidates will introduce themselves
*	Current AC Topics
*	AC Commencement, New AC promotional pieces, Student Support
*	Changes for AC for 2011-12
*	Houses in AC, Lead Teachers
*	Ways to volunteer and contribute to AC

Please plan on joining us for this important and informative meeting for BHS
Academic Choice parents and guardians.
