The Berkeley High School PTSA presents "Sexual Harassment and Bullying: a
Forum for Parents and Students" This event is co-sponsored by the Berkeley
High School Safety Committee and the Gay-Straight Alliance.
DATE: Wed. Feb. 16, 7-9pm
Location: Berkeley High School Library,
Allston Way at Milvia, Berkeley
Introductory remarks by GSA and Pamela Harrison-Small, BUSD Supervisor,
Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Systems.
Presentations made by outside speakers:
Bullying : Nina Simone Grotch, Education Director, Anti-Defamation League
(ADL) Central Pacific regional office
Sexual Harassment: Dan Siegel, trial and appellate attorney who was former
General Counsel for the Oakland Unified School District, and litigator in
numerous sex discrimination cases involving Title IX.
This parent education event is being developed with the cooperation of
school and district administration.
