Dear Parents and Guardians -

 

During the month of January, History and English teachers of both 9th and
10th graders in Academic Choice will be teaching a "Social Living" unit.
Social Living is a survey course which covers important issues such as sex
education and drug awareness, as well as physical, dietary, and mental
health. This mini course is included in the California State Standards and
is a graduation requirement.  A description of the course is available at:

If you would like further information about our teachers' educational
approaches to addressing these issues, a copy of the "Social Living"
