English teachers of both 9th and 10th graders in Academic Choice will be
teaching a “Social Living” unit. Social Living is a survey course
which covers important issues such as sex education and drug awareness, as well
as physical, dietary, and mental health. This mini course is included in the
California State Standards and is a graduation requirement. A description
