The Muslim Student Association at Berkeley High meets on Wednesdays at 3:30 in Room G200.  Students interested in the club can contact the advisor, Mr. David Daniels, at the email address listed above.

The Muslim Student Association would like to invite BHS students to participate in ecumenical dialog through the Unity Program - a high school course designed to educate students about Jewish-Muslim relations, Islam, and Judaism while strengthening the relationships students have to their own religious, ethnic, and cultural traditions.

The four major components of the Unity Program are:
(1)  Teacher-led classes co-taught by a Muslim-Jewish pair.

(2)  Presentations by Jewish and Muslim guest speakers.

(3)  Inter-school meetings between students from both communities, facilitated by a Muslim-Jewish pair.

(4)  Inter-school field trips where students from both schools travel together to places of particular cultural and religious significance to both communities.

Please contact Megan Martin for more information [mailto:megan at abrahamsvision.org]
