Salaams to everyone, we are fortunate indeed to have with us, once again, Shayhk Yassir Chadly, a well known figure in the history of Islam in the Bay Area. He is also a part of the Jazz ensemble MoRockin which performs at Yoshi's quite often. Shayhkh Yassir has produced at least one very good CD of this wonderful Jazz Middle Eastern fusion. Besides music he is a well known storyteller and teaches as an adjunct professor at Starr King School for the Ministry. He is the Imam of a small but well attended Sufi Mosque in Oakland.  

Please gather your lunch and make time to sit and have a Q&A on Islam with this wonderful man. April 13 at 11:40 am in C115.
