[BHS etree] VOLUNTEERS: Winter Ball Parent Volunteer Help Needed

This year's Winter Ball, "Cupid's Ball" will take place on February 6 in the
Jacket Gym on the BHS campus from 7-11pm.  

Parent volunteers are needed to manage the coat check, check-in of guests,
food area and generally promote positive behavior.  You will not be
responsible for monitoring and disciplining students for any issues that
arise, as it is the job of safety officers and school administrators.  

If you are interested in volunteering please contact me.  The hope is that a
few can arrive around 5:30pm to set up the food area.  Other volunteers are
welcome to come at 6:30pm, or later, and work for any portion thereof.  

The dance is semi-formal.  It includes free refreshments and coat check and
a professional DJ who brings special lighting and other effects to make for
a unique experience.  Professional decorators have also been contracted to
help transform the gym into "Cupid's Ballroom." 

Tickets are on sale at lunch and after school through Friday in the Athletic
Office by the Donahue Gym.  The price is $35 but students on free or reduced
lunch can get a note from their counselor reducing the cost to $25.
