The Berkeley High School Annual Holiday Dinner for the Homeless is a long
standing tradition that seems to get better every year. This year over 200
student, staff and parent volunteers began cooking early in the morning,
knowing that they would need to feed between 300 - 500 people. These photos
show some of the story. Students filled Principal Jim Slemp's office with
cans, where he is shown meeting with Student Activities Director Chris Young
to discuss the details. The students ended up collecting a few thousand
cans.

Berkeley High School's "Comic Potential" was a Shift Theater production (a
student run organization dedicated to creating acting opportunities for
anyone with a love for theater and a passion to commit. These photos are
from the closing night, and it is clear that these students are passionate
about their art and committed to it. Watch for the video.
