WHAT: A Gathering in Honor of BHS Counselor, Susan Werd
WHEN: Tuesday, November 10 at 3:30 pm
WHERE: BHS Library

A gathering in honor of Susan Werd will be held in the Berkeley High Library
on Tuesday, November 10th at 3:30 p.m.  At the suggestion of one of her
students, black tea, tootsie rolls,  bagels and lox--all favorites of
Susan's--will be served.  For the last four years Ms Werd  was a counselor
for BIHS; before that she was the freshmen counselor helping 8th graders
sign up for classes and then helping them when they arrived at the school.
She was a fierce advocate for student support across the school. She was
also smart, funny and sharp.  Ms Werd died of pancreatic cancer last week.
She will be sorely missed at Berkeley High School by her students and
colleagues.
